Second LNG Cargo Arrived at Inkoo Post Balticconnector Shutdown

The second cargo since the Balticconnector outage on 8 October is scheduled to arrive at Finland’s Inkoo LNG terminal Friday night, LSEG vessel-tracking data showed.

  • The Arctic Princess is carrying natural gas from the Artic Hammerfest LNG plant and is scheduled to arrive at Inkoo on Friday night.
  • The vessel’s arrival fits a late spot slot for a reduced capacity of 400-500GWh, around half of a standard slot, offered by the terminal operators following the outage of the Balticconnector gas pipeline.
  • The first LNG cargo arrived at the terminal on 17 October.
  • The Inkoo LNG terminal recently published revised winter booking slots to ensure stable supplies after the shutdown of the pipeline according to Gasgrid.
