AUSSIE SUMMARY: *Sep7 Aussie-dollar open $0.8000, range $0.7984 to $0.8019
*Ahead of local data the Aussie consolidated within a  $0.7995 to $0.8019 range
*Aussie opened in Asia toward the upper side of the $0.7964 to $0.8021 range
witnessed yesterday, where modest US dollar strength was somewhat negated by
demand in Aussie-yen and Aussie-kiwi.
*Softer Trade and Retail Sales data pushed the Aussie lower from $0.8015 to
$0.7991, July's Trade Balance came in at A$460 million against MNI's expectation
of A$900 million, while Retail Sales also for July came in flat against MNI's
forecast of a rise of 0.3%.
*Recoveries were held to around $0.8000, softer commodity prices then saw the
Aussie ease lower to $0.7984, Shanghai steel rebar down 2.3% and Dalian ore
futures down 3.5%.
*Heading toward the opening of European markets, Aussie crawled a little higher
to $0.7992 and was last at $0.7990.
*Support is now located at $0.7964 (Sep6 low), while recoveries post-data, have
been held to $0.8000
