SOUTH AFRICA: Talks On Tshwane Mayor Ongoing, S&P Global PMI On Tap

- The African National Congress's (ANC's) Tshwane secretary George Matjila said that the metropolitan area will likely have a new mayor on Thursday after Democratic Alliance's (DA's) Cilliers Brink was voted out last week. Matjila added that negotiations around Brink's likely successor are ongoing, while the ANC will not be intimidated by the DA's threats to retaliate in other municipalities if the ANC refuses to reinstate Brink.
