Switzerland Offers No Capacity to France in July Jao Auction

The latest Jao CBC July auction between Switzerland and France offered no capacity in the direction of France, while capacity in the direction of Switzerland increased on the month.

  • Switzerland offered no capacity in the direction of France for July delivery.
  • For June delivery, Switzerland allocated 251MW of the 253MW of offered capacity in the direction of France at €0.35/MWh,
  • In the France-Switzerland direction, all of the 98MW of offered capacity has been allocated for July delivery at €7.87/MWh.
  • In June, all 41MW of offered capacity was allocated at €24.67/MWh.
  • The Swiss front-month base-load contract is currently trading at €52.25/MWh and is holding a €4.60/MWh premium to France.
