US TSYS: T-Notes hold a tight range in early Asia-Pac hours, last -0-01+ at

- This comes after some light bull flattening of the curve on Thursday, which

saw an uptick in the contract. On the data front, weekly claims were mixed vs.

exp., but ultimately provided little deviation vs. consensus. Retail sales data

topped exp., with the softer surveys mixed.

- Fedspeak offered little in the way of fresh discussion, but continued to point

to split views on the need for YCC as at least an option re: Fed policy.

- NY flow was dominated by a 7.5K block buyer of USU0 180.00 puts. Volume was

light.

- Eurodollar futures +0.5 to -0.5 through the reds.

- A limited Asia-Pac docket will leave participants looking to news flow in

overnight trade.
