T-Notes Hold Tight Range

BOND SUMMARY

News flow has been relatively subdued thus far. T-Notes have hugged a 0-04 range and last trade +0-02+ at 137-16+, ticking away from fresh session highs. Cash Tsys are closed owing to the Veterans' Day in the U.S. Eurodollar futures trade -0.5 to +0.5 through the reds.

  • JGB futures have wavered and last trade at 151.86, near the mid-point of today's range & 6 ticks shy of last settlement. Cash JGB yields sit lower across the curve. The BoJ left the sizes of its 1-10 Year JGB purchases unchanged. Coming up in Japan later today we have flash machine tool orders.
  • Australian YM trades -1.0, while XM sits -3.5 after probing the water under overnight lows as Westpac Consumer Confidence continued to improve, while the auction of ACGB 21 Nov '31 was digested smoothly enough. Cash ACGB curve has steepened, with yields last seen -0.2bp to +3.9bp. Bills trade unch. to -2 ticks through the reds.
