EGBS: TD analysts said that "the European economies are somewhat out of synch
with the rest of the developed markets. While the euro area is growing strongly,
the starting point is much poorer than in most developed markets and inflation
will remain elusive."
- "The ECB will remain one of the most expansionary central banks globally,"
they said. "The UK, in contrast, is facing its domestic Brexit problems creating
slower growth and higher inflation in its wake. The former should prevent the
BoE reacting to the latter more forcefully than currently priced in. We see bond
yields rising somewhat, but expect European bond markets to outperform the US
and other developed markets in 2018."
