Technical Corrections Widespread In Asia


The spill over from Wall St. has dragged regional equity markets lower during early Asia-Pac trade, with the likes of the Nikkei 225, KOSPI & the TAIEX entering technical correction territory. Geopolitical tensions surrounding China will likely be adding to the pressure in the region, although this cannot be deemed new news. The Nikkei 225 is providing the weak point amongst the regional majors, running ~3% below Monday's closing levels at typing. The weakness in regional equities has also weighed on e-minis, which have reversed their early uptick and more, running ~0.4% lower on the day.
