USDCAD headed into the US close lower Wednesday. The outlook remains bullish

though. Last week's move higher signalled the end of the recent Mar 19 - Apr 13

bearish cycle. The strong close on Apr 15 confirmed a bullish engulfing candle,

highlighting a reversal. Furthermore, this weeks gains have confirmed a

resumption of strength opening 1.4349, the Mar 31 high and a key resistance.

Support is 1.4114, Apr 21 low with a firmer level located at 1.3998, Apr 17 / 20

low.
