Thai Opposition To Table No-Confidence Motion Monday

Anti-government demonstrators clashed with the police in Bangkok for a second straight day on Wednesday, with officers using tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse the crowd. The opposition said that they will file a no-confidence motion against PM Prayuth and four ministers on Monday. While ministers are expected to survive the vote, it will provide the opposition with an opportunity to draw public attention to the government's mistakes.

  • Meanwhile, Thailand declared a record daily increase in new Covid-19 cases today, with 22,782 infections detected. The number of fatalities rose by 147.
