AUSTRALIA: The AFR writes "Citi is set to launch a 'back to basics' lending
campaign that will slash nearly 240 basis points off principal and interest
loans, turning a flagship loan from the industry's most expensive to among the
cheapest. The move by the Australian division of the global power house follows
successive rate rises and tougher lending terms during the past 12 months. Citi
will name the new owner-occupier and investment loans "basic" to reflect it
having fewer add-on features than other products in its range."
