The "allergy" of the U.S government.....>

CHINA PRESS
CHINA PRESS: The "allergy" of the U.S government to investments by Chinese
companies should be treated, the state-run Xinhua News Agency said Thursday in a
commentary on the U.S government's blocking of the sale of money-transfer
company MoneyGram International to China's e-commerce giant, Alibaba, on
national security grounds. The commentary argued that the "blind abuse" of state
security inspections will constrain cooperation between the two countries and
jeopardize the healthy development of the bilateral trade relationship.
Protectionist moves using the excuse of "national security" is a retrogression
of the U.S. government's China policy, which hurts the investment enthusiasm of
Chinese companies and the interests of the U.S, the commentary noted. (Xinhua
