FOREX: The Asia-Pacific session was a lacklustre affair, the dollar eked out

from Monday's close in New York. Dollar-yen trekked higher from Y109.24 to
Y109.58, Tokyo-fix related demand encouraged the push higher before stalling,
last at Y109.36. Euro-dollar dropped from $1.1964 to $1.1946 and then recovered
to $1.1960. Aussie-dollar eased from $0.8034 to $0.7998, weaker NAB business
confidence was seen to weigh, the data for August came in at 5 verses 12 in July

consolidated between $1.3161 and $1.3182.
