AUSSIE: The Aussie opened in Asia at $0.8000 toward the upper side of the
$0.7964 to $0.8021 range witnessed yesterday, where modest US dollar strength
was somewhat negated by demand in Aussie-yen and Aussie-kiwi. Australian Trade
Balance and Retail Sales provide the event risks for the Asia session, MNI's
estimates July's trade balance will rise to A$900 million from A$856 million and
for retail sales to remain unchanged at 0.3% m/m. Resistance lies at $0.8028/43
(Sep5/Aug1 highs), while hourly support is located around $0.7990, a break opens
$0.7964 (Sep6 low). Aussie was last at $0.8003
