FOREX: The dollar continued to lose ground against many of its peers in
holiday-thinned Asia markets, with investors deeming the latest FOMC minutes as
on the dovish side. Dollar-yen dropped from Y111.32 to Y111.07 but recovered to
Y111.38 as technical support held firm. Euro-dollar rose from $1.1813 to
$1.1838, the move was further assisted by demand in euro-yen. Cable trekked
higher from $1.3315 to $1.3337. Meanwhile, both Aussie and kiwi consolidated in
respective ranges of $0.7604 to $0.7621 and $0.6867 to $0.6885.
