JGBS AUCTION: The Japanese Ministry of Finance (MOF) will today sell Y550bln of
debt with a remaining life of 5-15.5 Years in an enhanced liquidity auction. At
the previous enhanced liquidity auction in this maturity the MOF sold Y550bln on
August 24 with an average spread of -0.012 and a high spread of -0.011, the
auction was covered 3.72x.
- Eligible Issues:
* No.325-347 of outstanding 10-year JGBs
* No.58-142 of outstanding 20-year JGBs
* No.1-9 of outstanding 30-year JGBs
- At the last auction Issue #332 was reopened for Y447.7bln, issue #330 was
reopened for Y37.8bln, and issue #142 was reopened for Y26.6bln.
- Results due at 0445BST/1245JST.
