The JGB curve twist-flattened yesterday,.......>

JGBS
JGBS: The JGB curve twist-flattened yesterday, with the super-long end
outperforming, reversing the selling pressure that had been in the morning,
although the short end of the curve continued to underperform through the
entirety of the session.
- The longer end of the curve's resilience was aided by a firm 10-Year auction.
- Focus today will fall on the BoJ's latest round of Rinban operations covering
the 1-10 Year buckets. This will be the first operation covering the 5-10 Year
bucket since the BoJ trimmed its purchases in that particular area of the curve
on Friday.
- Barclays suggest that "today could see buyers continue to take a slight upper
hand in the super-long end after US and European yields fell overnight."
