JAPAN: The latest round of weekly Japanese international security flow data
revealed that Japanese investors turned net sellers of foreign bonds for the
first week in 9. On the equity side, Japanese investors flipped to net buying of
foreign stocks for the first week in 3. Do note both rounds of net flows were
small.
- Foreigners were net buyers of Japanese bonds for a fifth consecutive week, and
flipped to small net buying of Japanese equities for the first week in three.
- There was little change in the 4-week rolling sums of the 4 individual
measures.
