STOCKS: The major Asia-Pacific equity indices are mostly lower post-Fed, after
U.S. equity indices slid on Wednesday.
- The exception here is the Nikkei 225, which has been supported by the latest
leg higher in USD/JPY, as well as a round of strong earnings from some of the
financial names.
- A very soft Q2 GDP print out of Hong Kong has dented the Hang Seng, with the
index on its way to lodging its worst losing streak in a little over 3 years.
- Nikkei 225 unch., Hang Seng -0.9%, CSI 300 -0.6%, ASX 200 -0.3%.
- S&P 500 futures -1, NASDAQ 100 futures -1, DJIA futures -2.
