RBNZ: The NZ OIS strip is pricing 32bp worth of easing at the Bank's March
decision, back from the ~43bp priced on Friday. The OIS curve troughs at ~0.48%,
around 2-Years out from now.
- Re-adjustments came on the back of comments from RBNZ Governor Orr yesterday,
which lacked any signals re: a want to adopt unconventional monetary policy
measures as he outlined steps that the Bank may take in situation. Orr also
pointed to the RBNZ's 50bp, from August 2019, as "buying the Bank an enormous
amount of time," in an interview with BBG.
