AUSSIE BONDS
AUSSIE BONDS: The space has stuck to a tight range thus far, with 3-Year Bond
futures last trading at 97.745 (+1.0 tick), while 10-Year Bond futures trade at
97.245 (+2.0 ticks).
- The auction of the longest ACGB on offer at present was well received as the
bid to cover ticked higher at this morning's auction, although this could be a
result of the latest round of coupon payments, which are expected to support
Aussie issuance this week.
- The domestic 3-10 Year yield differential last trades 0.9bp flatter at 51.3bp,
while the AU/US 10-Year spread trades 2.4bp wider at -9.6bp.
- 3-Month BBSW fixed 1bp lower today, as the rising repo rate trend abated.
- This has led to the white & red Bill contracts trading 1-2 ticks higher.
- Tomorrow's Aussie labour market report dominates the domestic docket for the
remainder of the week.
