The US dollar is modestly better bid....>

EURO-DOLLAR: The US dollar is modestly better bid against its peers in
holiday-thinned Asia markets, local traders are mostly of the same opinion and
say its likely profit-taking, given the recent US dollar sell off over the
Christmas period and with US ISM manufacturing, construction spending and Fed
Minutes all due for release later tonight. Euro-dollar has edged lower from
$1.2066 to post a base so far at $1.2042. Initial support is located at $1.2026
(hourly low), a break to expose yesterday's base at $1.2004.
