STIR: There has been a risk-off feel to STIR markets this morning, although
volumes have been light ahead of the US holiday.
- Short sterling has seen the biggest moves, with the strip flattening and
shifting higher following reports that cross-party attempts to find a compromise
Brexit deal have stalled. May now intends to find a deal that is more acceptable
to backbench Tories and the DUP. Whites are 0.5 ticks higher on the day, Reds
1-2.5 ticks higher, Greens 3 ticks higher and Blues 3.5-4 ticks higher on the
day.
- The Euribor strip has remained largely flat on the day with little in the way
of major data releases due today.
- The Eurodollar strip has moved 1-1.5 ticks higher on the day.
