US DATA PREVIEW: This week brings Friday's key December US nonfarm payroll
employment report. The MNI poll of economists projects a median estimate for the
Dec. NFP of 190K (vs prior Nov. 228K report gain.) 
- The MNI poll projected median estimates for a 185K Dec private payroll
employment within Dec. jobs report; and a 4.1% jobless rate and a 0.3% Avg
Hourly Earnings gain, and a 34.5 hours workweek.
- Meanwhile Jefferies economists Ward McCarthy and Tom Simons expect a 175,000
Dec. jobs gain, a 170,000 private payrolls gain and a 4.0% bless rate and a 0.3%
Avg Hourly Earning gain.
- TD economists expected a 170K jobs gain, 4.1% jobless rate and 0.3% Avg Hourly
Earnings, while Univ of Maryland's Peter Morici had the high poll estimate at
210K, 4.1% jobless rate and 0.2% AHE gain.
