US TSYS: Tsys continue to draw support from the Chinese statement re: the recent
U.S.-China trade talks, which signalled that no major headway was made during
the 3-day sit-down. RTRS note that MOFCOM said the talks "were extensive, deep &
detailed, and promoted mutual understanding." MOFCOM also noted that "talks
established a foundation for the resolution of eachothers' concerns," with both
sides agreeing to maintain close contact. Contract now deals through Wednesday's
session high.
- Bull steepening extending in early Asia-Pacific trade, with U.S. equity index
futures lower on the day.
- White and red Eurodollar contracts trade 0.5 to 5.5 ticks higher.
- T-Notes last 122.01+, U.S. 10-Year cash Tsy yields last 2.683%.
