US TSYS
US TSYS: Tsys have been somewhat insulated against the broader risk-on flows
observed in Asia-Pacific trade thus far, shrugging off the ever-increasing
optimism surrounding the ongoing U.S.-China vice-ministerial trade talks. The
contract has been equally unreactive to a Nikkei report that suggests that Apple
"is cutting its current production plan for new iPhones by about 10% for the
next three months." T-Notes trade just below Tuesday's low at writing, sticking
to a tight range, with yields marginally higher across the curve.
- The white and red Eurodollar contracts trade unchanged to 1 tick lower.
- Focus on Trump's speech at 21:00 ET, although he isn't expected to use a state
of emergency to force through border wall funding. Elsewhere, the Dec FOMC
meeting minutes will hit on Wednesday, along with 10-Year supply. Fedspeak comes
from Bostic, Rosengren & Evans.
- T-Notes last 121.19+, U.S. 10-Year cash Tsy yields last 2.733%.
