US TSYS
US TSYS: Tsys have stuck to a tight range, despite a brief blip higher as
traders took some risk off of the table heading into the Trump-Kim summit.
- CNN sources have suggested that "President Trump and Kim Jong Un will sign an
agreement to acknowledge the progress of the talks and pledge to keep momentum
going." This put a very light bid into Tsys, which remained within their
overnight range, perhaps signalling less progress than some participants were
hoping for following a string of positive comments from Trump earlier today.
- 30-Year supply will hit on Tuesday. This comes after both the 3- & 10-Year
auctions stopped through screens on Monday, with the cover ratios holding
steady, indirect participation edged higher in the 3-Year sale, while direct
participation moved upwards in the 10-Year auction.
- Elsewhere participants will eye US CPI data ahead of Wednesday's FOMC
decision.
- T-Notes last at 119.14+, US 10-Year Tsy yield last at 2.953%.
