TurkGBs Claw Back Gains in Early Trading, Selling Pressure on USD Bonds Eases Slightly

  • Local rates open slightly firmer this morning with 3 & 7Y yields down -9bp in early trading, having resumed last week’s selling bias in yesterday’s session.
  • 3-7Y yields were most offered on the day, rising +10-12bp.
  • 10Y yields also lifted +4bp, resuming the move higher above 2019’s highs at 20.27 with an eye on the 2018 high at 21.10.
  • USD bond yields also moved 3-3.4bp higher with a bear flattening bias, but at a slower pace than last week’s sell-off.
