U.S. equity futures were pressured...........>

STOCKS
STOCKS: U.S. equity futures were pressured overnight, responding to the latest
developments, or lack thereof, re: U.S. fiscal stimulus, which dominated any
upside impetus from Joe Biden's strong showing in the latest round of Democratic
Party primaries in the U.S. (which was largely discounted, at least by the
betting markets).
- This left the major regional Asia-Pac indices in trouble, despite the positive
lead from Wall St. where the benchmark indices added over 4.0% apiece on
Tuesday.
- Nikkei 225 -2.0%, Hang Seng -0.6%, CSI 300 -0.1%, ASX 200 -3.6%.
- S&P 500 futures -83, DJIA futures -667, NASDAQ 100 futures -231.
