The U.S. has warned European allies that Russia asked China to supply armed drones in late February, unidentified sources told Bloomberg.

• The report comes on the heels of a meeting between U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and China's top diplomat Yang Jiechi but it is unclear if the question of alleged Russian request was raised during the talks.
• According to the report, Sullivan is "seeking to call his Russian counterpart Nikolai Patrushev to directly warn him" not to use chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine amid growing concern that Moscow might resort to such methods.
