Urals Crude From Baltic Ports to Rise in Sep Despite Possible Works

Urals crude loadings from Baltic ports are expected to rise in September despite possible maintenance at Primorsk according to partial loading programs.

  • Shipments from Ust-Luga total 2m tons by Sep 20 and would reach about 3m tons, or 733k b/d for the full month if the pace continues. The volume compares to 2.3m tons, or 544k b/d, for the full month of August.
  • Loadings from Primorsk are expected to be about 3.2m tons, or 782k b/d, compared with 3.2m tons or 757k b/d for August. No cargoes are planned for Sept. 20-22, suggesting possible planned maintenance as seen in Sep 2021 and Sep 2020 according to Bloomberg.
