US Decline Resumes on Warm January Forecast

NATGAS

US Natgas resumes the decline after a brief recovery yesterday with ongoing warm weather holding demand below normal.

    • US Natgas FEB 23 down -5.4% at 3.95$/mmbtu
  • The latest NOAA forecast still shows above normal temperatures across most of the US throughout the two week outlook. Domestic demand is today estimated slightly higher than over the last week at 86.6bcf/d but is still below normal.
  • Deliveries to US LNG export terminals are again higher today at 12.52bcf/d with higher flows to Sabine Pass and Calcasieu Pass. Flows are recovering back towards the volumes seen before the severe cold weather at the end of December.
  • US production was yesterday relatively unchanged at 101.1bcf/d and flows to Mexico are today estimated at 6.6.bcf/d.
