US Gasoline Imports from Europe Increase

US imports of gasoline from Europe rose to an eight-week high of 376kbpd for the week to Sep 1 according to bills of loading and ship tracking by Bloomberg. US gasoline imports from Europe last week were just 214kbpd.

  • Gasoline crack spreads are today recovering lost ground from yesterday while diesel spreads have turned negative on the day.
    • US gasoline crack down -0.2$/bbl at 16.45$/bbl
    • US ULSD crack down -1.2$/bbl at 65.37$/bbl
    • Gasoline-Brent up 1.4$/bbl at 1.44$/bbl
    • Gasoil-Brent down 0$/bbl at 45.17$/bbl
