US Gasoline Pump Prices Could Jump by up to $1/gal: GasBuddy


Gasoline prices in several US states could rise by between 50 cents to $1/gal over the next few days, according to GasBuddy.

  • There was no clear reason for the spike, but may be linked to a refinery outage, sources told GasBuddy.
  • The states affected are: Oklahoma, Missouri, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota and Kansas
  • The current nationwide average gasoline pump price in the US is $3.778/gal, down 3.7c on the August average of $3.818/gal.
