US Natgas Loses Earlier Gains After -81bcf EIA Stock Draw

US Natgas pulls back from earlier gains after the EIA data shows -81bcf natural gas stock draw, slightly less than expected.

  • US Natgas JAN 23 up 0.8% at 6.99$/mmbtu
  • Expectation was for a draw of -86bcf compared to the 5-year average for this time of year of -32bcf.
  • Total US gas inventories are just below the five year average at 3,483bcf.
