US TSYS: Cash Bonds Continue Flatten Theme, while Equities Push Higher

TYH4 is trading at 111-10, +06+ from NY closing levels, breaking Friday highs. Overall though we remain within ranges Thursday last week. Positive equity sentiment is the dominant cross asset theme so far today, following strong US gains at the tail end of last week.


• Cash bonds are continuing their flattening theme in late morning trade, with the 2yr now unchanged for the day, while the 10yr is 1bp lower.


• Across asset classes, USD is trading weaker with BBDXY lower by 0.10%, while Equity futures are being pushed higher with tech stock leading the way, Nasdaq cash futures up 0.64%, while SPX futures has continued its move higher after closing last week at fresh highs, currently up 0.27% this morning for Eminis.


• Note as well, US Secretary Janet Yellen will deliver what the Treasury
Department is billing as a “major address” at the Chicago Economic Club on the state of the US economy on Thursday at about 12:35pm local time.
