USD/CAD has edged lower and last......>

DOLLAR-CANADA: USD/CAD has edged lower and last deals at C$1.3095 after hitting
a fresh YTD low of C$1.3069 on Friday, ultimately closing 23 pips lower on the
day. Although strong econ data aided USD, its impact was offset by WTI's jump to
the best levels since November, which propped up CAD and allowed the rate to
breach the 200-DMA (C$1.3129), extending the downtrend to near 3-month lows of
C$1.3100. 
- The near-term bearish target is located at Friday's low of C$1.3069 and a fall
through that level would open up the Nov 7 low of C$1.3056. Meanwhile, bulls
need a return above the 200-DMA before challenging Friday's peak at C$1.3158. 
- Domestic labour mkt data due Friday headlines Canadian economic docket this
week. Elsewhere, BoC Dep Gov Lane is set to speak Wednesday.
