DOLLAR-CANADA: USDCAD touched pullback lows of C$1.3180 (100-dma) yesterday,
followed by an immediate recovery to C$1.3240 on initial react to the BOC policy
decision. Rates were left on hold as expected, but they did tweak the language
to policy rates will need to rise over time into a neutral range to achieve
inflation target. Bullish divergence on the 9-day RSI was also seen attributed
to the bounce off lows. CAD is the main G10 underperformer today (-0.27%),
driven by a minor pullback in oil prices. Expect near-term resistance at
C$1.3252/68 from the 50%/61.8% retracement of C$1.3323-1.3180, a break above
C$1.33 opens a run at the 50-dma & 38.2% fibo of C$1.3665-1.3180 at C$1.3340/65.
Canadian housing data on the docket today at 1330GMT. Last C$1.3248.
