USDJPY remains above 153.00

  • The Dollar might be showing in the red, but the Currency outperforms following some big spikes across the board Yesterday, after US inflation came above expectations.
  • US 10yr Yield spiked to 4.5660 Yesterday, helping the USDJPY through 153.00, to print a 153.26 high, and just short of that level overnight of 153.17.
  • Next Psychological upside target in US Yield will be 4.60%, this equated to circa 108.00 Yesterday, but this level will be slightly lower today, at 107.28+.
  • Early small best performers in G10 are the AUD and NZD in G10, albeit by ~0.17%.
  • Next support in NZDUSD is at 0.5940 the April Low and lowest printed level since November.
  • Also note that there's 1.3bn worth of Option expiry for today at 0.5955.
