Vattenfall Delays Start of 1.11GW Forsmark-2 Nuclear

Swedish utility Vattenfall has delayed the start of their 1.11GW Forsmark 2 nuclear reactor by 4 days to 22 May, according to latest Remit data.

  • The unit will now return on 22 May at 12:00 CET compared to 18 May at 12:00 CET.
  • The pushback was due to additional work needed, Remit data show.
  • The Nordic front-quarter contract has given back some losses seen in the early morning. It is down 3.21% at €37.75/MWh at the time of writing.
