Venture Global to Ship Disputed Cargoes by End 2024

Venture Global, US natural gas exporter involved in disputes over supply agreements, will supply major European customers by the end of 2024, according to Bloomberg.

  • Shipments to Shell and BP will begin by the end of 2024. Venture Global has not sent cargoes according to its long-term agreement due to operational issues at Calcasieu Pass.
  • Shell and BP have separately accused Venture Global of “misconduct” for withholding cargo agreed under long-term contracts and instead opting to sell LNG on the spot market at higher prices, Bloomberg said. Venture Global has denied the claim.
