Vice Commerce Minister Yu Jianhua met with....>

CHINA: Vice Commerce Minister Yu Jianhua met with officials from the United
States Trade Representative office in Washington and "seriously negotiated" with
the officials over the U.S. initiation of the Section 301 investigation of
China's trade practices, according to a statement on the Ministry of Commerce
website on Monday. Yu also met with other U.S. trade representatives, including
David Malpass, the Under Secretary of the Treasury for International Affairs,
and discussed Sino-U.S. trade and economic relations and the Comprehensive
Economic Dialogue, according to the ministry.
