Voters More Concerned With Biden's Age Than Trump's Age

US

A new CBS survey has found that voters are more concerned with the age of President Biden than of former President Donald Trump.

  • CBS: “It's not clear to voters that they'd get a full second Biden term if he won one, and that uncertainty is not helping him. Only a third of voters think that Mr. Biden would finish a second term. Asked what might happen if elected again, more think he'd leave before finishing another term, or aren't sure.”
  • The survey further enforces the strength of Republican messaging on age and competence. Despite a relatively minor three-year age gap between the two, Trump receives markedly less scrutiny for his age and informal surveyssuggest that voters perceive Biden to be older than he is.
