Germany is forecast to have daily average of 4 cooling degree days in the next five days, 3 cooling degree days above the 10-year normal according to WSI, cited by Bloomberg. 

  • Mean temperatures in Berlin are forecast to rise to as high as 26C on 3 Sept, 9 degrees above the seasonal normal.
  • The latest ECMWF weather forecast suggested temperature for Germany are forecast to average 21.43C between 3-9 September, versus 20.04C for the same period in the forecast issued 12 hours earlier and above the 30-year normal of 16.01C.
