ENERGY
- The latest Baker Hughes rig count data is due for release at 13:00ET. The US oil rig count was last week steady at 504 while the gas rig count dropped to 115.
- The ICE and Nymex commitments of traders reports are due for release after the close today at 18:30GMT and 15:30ET. Managed money net long crude positions decreased slightly last week from the highest since October led by a decline Brent. Short only positions on US WTI crude were however the lowest in five months as the net long positions rose to the highest since late October.
- The Apr24 WTI options expire against the 19:30BST futures close price today.
