Won weakens ahead of BoK, USD/KRW pushing higher as risk off tone takes hold while the Kospi has shed 1.4% at the open as foreigners sell the index, Samsung is also weighing on the index after experiencing five downgrades this week. The BoK are expected to remain on hold, a hawkish tilt could help a bid in the won and increase the odds of a November rate hike.
