Yen Holding Modest Gains As Ueda Speaks Before Parliament

USD/JPY hasn't shifted a great deal as headlines from BoJ Governor Ueda's appearance before parliament cross. The pair was last near 146.00, holding modest gains in yen terms for the session. Ueda noting they will watch markets closely, so similar in tone to Uchida from earlier in August, albeit not saying they won't hike if the market is unstable. He also outlined some of the rationale for the July hike. The central bank also needs to be careful with its communications Ueda stated.
