He will be replaced by Interior Minister Guillermo Francos who has been negotiating with Congress over the bill. The move follows reports last week that Milei would review his entire cabinet after the omnibus bill is either approved or not.
  • Following the resignation, Milei began his journey to the US, where he will meet with various tech leaders over the coming days. He is scheduled to meet with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman today, and is due to have meetings with Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai and Apple CEO Tim Cook on Wednesday. He will also meet Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg during the trip.
