Koruna Ticks Higher Against Euro But Lags CE3 Peers


EUR/CZK has edged lower today, looking for fresh catalysts amid limited local headline flow. The rate last changes hands -0.009 at CZK23.679, with familiar technical levels still in play.

  • The Koruna has underperformed its CE3 peers. CZK/HUF has shed nearly 400 pips while lodging its worst levels in a week, while PLN/CZK has climbed to its highest point in two weeks.
  • CZGB yields have firmed a tad alongside the broader FI space, while the PX index has added ~0.9%, almost fully erasing yesterday's losses.
  • Czechia's business and consumer sentiment gauges will cross the wires tomorrow morning (08:00GMT/09:00CET).
