Legislative Work On Milestones Continues, Mortgage Holiday Chatter Eyed

Meanwhile, the lower house resumes work on the wind farm bill today. Both are needed to unlock EU recovery funds.
  • Speculation that the government could extend mortgage payment holidays through end-2024 sent Polish banking stocks lower Wednesday, even as they trimmed losses as government spokesman played down his initial confirmation that the decision will be taken by mid-2023.
